Solfeggietto (H 220, Wq. 117: 2) is a short solo keyboard piece in C minor composed by C. P. E. Bach. Played at a tempo of allegretto (also presto or prestissimo by some), it requires well-trained, dexterous fingers and much practice to be played well and at a consistent pace. The piece is not meant to be played at a fast, rushed pace, but more an even, quick pace. It contains changing C minor arpeggios and fast 16th notes. Some pianists use Solfeggietto to warm up their fingers for a performance. Many young pianists will also be heard playing it because of the speed at which it can be played with minimal difficulty.
